Lakhs of Government employees in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are eagerly waiting for the new pay scales to be awarded as per the PRC 2015. It is reported that both AP and Telangana governments are going to announce PRC for the government employees. All the discussion are on the minimum basic pay governments are going to fix under PRC.
It is learnt that the Basic Pay of the employees will be fixed at different fitment stages. The Telangana government has already released the new salaries for various categories of employees under 10th Pay Revision Commission (PRC).
Several employees unions have expressed their dissatisfaction over the proposed PRC in Telangana. The PRC has proposed 25 – 32 percent salaries hike in Andhra Pradesh as well but the Government is yet to take a decision.
The previous Andhra Pradesh government has constituted 10th PRC under the chairmanship of PK Agarwal. The commission has recommended 29-32 percent pay hikes for the employees in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
