2014 – The year of tragedies for AP leaders and parties

The year 2014 is going to be a tough one for the politicians in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The state is going to witness Assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections simultaneously in April – May 2014. The year is likely to record political death of several parties and many leaders. Let us see party wise prospects for TDP, Congress, YCP and others in the year 2014.

TDP: The party almost lost its sheen in Telagana thanks to TRS and reginal movement. TDP may be limited to third position in Telangana if the state is bifurcated. This will lead to the death of political career for many T-TDP leaders.

Congress: The biggest blow will hit the Congress in form of elections in 2014. The party may lost its base across the state and likely to be devastated in Seemandhra Region. Its hopes on Telangana also may turn bleak as the TRS emerging strong day after day.

TRS: Irrespective of the issue of bifurcation, the TRS is going to gain hugely in Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. KCR may steer the party to victory from farm house itself but the tragedy will be that he could not form the Government without the support of TDP or YSRCP.

YSRCP: Though there is perceived upper hand in the Seemandhra Region, YSRCP is likely to lost the ground slowly due to its unholy understanding with the Congress high command. It all depends on the effective campaign, strength and success of other parties like TDP.
