AP Secretariat Will Be Ready by June 2016

Amaravati Secretariat The Andhra Pradesh government appears to be firm on the construction of Secretariat in the new capital Amaravati as soon as possible. The construction work of temporary Secretariat is in brisk pace and is likely to get ready very soon.

The officials have informed that about 25 percent of the construction work has been completed. The AP Government has allotted 45 acres for the temporary capital.

All the HODs of various departments will start functioning from new Secretariat. The employees also will be shifted to Amaravati from Hyderabad in June 2016, as per the previous deadline. About 15-20 percent employees will be given exemption.

About 900 to 1000 workers are participating in the construction of new temporary Secretariat for Andhra Pradesh. The Government has laid the foundation stone for Secretariat on 17th February 2016. There will be one lakh square feet area per each floor.
