AP Temporary Capital in Singapore Township at Mangalagiri

Amaravathi Township at Mangalagiri The Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to establish temporary capital in Singapore Township near Mangalagiri. The Singapore Township is located near to Navuluru and Nidamarru villages in Mangalagiri mandal.

The township is spread across 400 acres of land and developed by VGTM – VUDA and part of Amaravathi Township. The project belongs to Arihant Projects Private Limited, a private developer in the state.

The AP Government is of the opinion that the Singapore Township is more appropriate considering Vaastu of the land and buildings. The government has decided to take 22.72 acres land in the township.

The urban development minister, P.Narayana has discussed the matter with the land owner and offered 22.72 acres of land in some other place, for which the owner is said to be provisionally agreed.

The Engineering team of CRDA has also visited the Singapore Township and expressed satisfaction over the viability for temporary capital for Andhra Pradesh. The final decision is yet to be taken by the Government.
