Champions League Twenty20 is an international cricket tournament conducted by India. Following are details of CLT20 Schedule for 2011, top run scorers in the tournament and points of various teams. There are 29 matches out of which 6 are qualifiers. The Qualifier teams for CLT20 – 2011 are Kolkata Knight Riders (IPL), Auckland Aces (New Zealand), Somerset (England), Ruhunu Eleven (Sri Lanka), Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies) and Leicestershire (England). The tournament will begin on 23rd September 2011 and will be closed on 9th October 2011. The Champions League Twenty20 2011 tournament is prepared by International Cricket Council (ICC) and India will host the tournament. The tournament has been excellent success with the brand new T20 format is creating enthusiasm and interest amongst audiences across the world. The tournament is sponsored by Nokia hence called as NOKIA Champions League Twenty20 – 2011. The top clubs in the tournament are India, South Africa and Australia. There will be 10 teams in the tournament. Top club teams from India are Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. Other top clubs are NSW Blues and South Australian Redbacks and Australia and Cape Cobras and Warriors from South Africa. All the teams have been categorised into 2 groups i.e, Group A and Group B. Qualifier Teams are Kolkata Knight Riders (IPL), Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies), Auckland Aces (New Zealand), Ruhunu Eleven (Sri Lanka), Somerset (England) and Leicestershire (England).
