The tournament will begin on 23rd September 2011 and will be closed on 9th October 2011. The Champions League Twenty20 2011 tournament is prepared by International Cricket Council (ICC) and India will host the tournament. There will be 10 teams in the tournament. Top club teams from India are Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. Other top clubs are NSW Blues and South Australian Redbacks and Australia and Cape Cobras and Warriors from South Africa. All the teams have been categorised into 2 groups i.e, Group A and Group B. Qualifier Teams are Kolkata Knight Riders (IPL), Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies), Auckland Aces (New Zealand), Ruhunu Eleven (Sri Lanka), Somerset (England) and Leicestershire (England).
