The Congress party has annojnced first list of candidates for Chattisgarh Assembly Elections to be held in November / December 2013. The main opposition in the state has announced candidates for 17 of the 18 assembly constituencies in Chhattisgarh.
The list includes prominant leaders such as Umesh Patel, Alka Mudliyar and Devti Karma, members of the families of Congress leaders Nandkumar Patel, Vijay Mudliyar and Mahendra Korma.
Umesh Patel, Pradesh Congress Committee chief snf don of Mr. Patel has been fielded from Kharsia. Alka Mudliyar, wife of Mr Mudliyar, has been nominated frm Rajnandgaon Constituency.
Devti Karma, the wife of late Mahendra Karma is the party’s candidate from the Dantewada-ST constituency. The following is the first list of candidates released by the Congress party. .
