Congress Party has released first list of Assembly Candidates for Telangana. After prolonged discussions and consultations, the Congress Party has finally come out with 111 candidates, leaving 7 seats for it’s partner, CPI in Telangana. 45 sitting MLAs
Prominent names in the list includes Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Damodar Raja Narasimha, D. Sridhar Babu, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, V. Hanumantha Rao, D. Srinivas, Shabbir Ali, K.R. Suresh Reddy, Jana Reddy, DK Aruna, Geetha Reddy and Jeevan Reddy.
Prominent omissions in the list are Sabita Indra Reddy, Raji Reddy (Uppal) and Sankar Rao of Secunderabad Contonment. Student JAC leader Krishank has been fielded from this constituency.
