The Government of Telangana has finalised the name for Doordarshan to be dedicated to Telangana State. Doordarshan Yadagiri will be the new official channel for Telangana State.
The previous Dordarshan Saptagiri will be confined to Andhra Pradesh. It is known as DD Saptagiri. The AP Government has announced the channel to be based at Vijayawada. DD Yadagiri will be based at Hyderabad.
The Yadagiri name has been finalised after considering the spiritual significance of Yadagiri Gutta in Telangana State. The DD Yadagiri will start its operations and broadcasting from 27th September 2014.
The DD Yadagiri will telecast the programmers that reflect the Telangana culture, traditions, festivals, language and other events. Let us will all the best for DD Yadagiri.
