Employee Health Scheme in AP – Download Health Card

Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh has initiated a scheme to provide cashless medical treatment to the State Government Employees, Pensioners and their dependent family members in all kinds of hospitals. The Government has issued GO.No. 174 on 1st November 2013 to this effect and following are login details for Government employees of Andhra Pradesh.

Coverage of the scheme: The beneficiaries covered under this scheme are serving employees i.e, all regular State Government employees, provincialised employees of local bodies, retired employees, all service pensioners, family pensioners and re-employed service pensioners.

Following family members of the employees are also eligible to avail the benefits of Employee Health Scheme. They are dependent parents, wife, husband in case of wife is an employee and dependents of family members.

The patients are eligible to claim Rs. 2 lakhs under this scheme. All the network hospitals will have to accept the patients for cashless treatment, even in the case of the treatment exceeds Rs. 2 lakhs. The employees and pensioners can login to the website http://www.ehf.gov.in/ to get temporary health cards. These cards are valid till 31 December 2013.
