Is APNGOs still relevant

It is quite clear by now that the APNGO almost lost its relevance in the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The plan of action announced by APNGOs a few days back has no takers across the state.

The leaders of the employees organisations are seems busy with the negotiations with the Government on various career related issues.

The president of APNGOs Paruchuri Ashok Babu has become quite rhetorical these days. The schedules for agitations announced by him are not being followed by his colleagues.

As a whole APNGOs have done their job in the first phase of Samaikhya Andhra Pradesh. There ends the fight and new fight for assembly tickets may begin soon.

  1. A P N G O plays a role of an ‘Observer’ as leaving the A P bifurcation issue, entirely to the politicians irrespective of the parties, is risky if not hazardous due to their cameleon and mercurial nature, to the interests of the common people of Andhra Pradesh. APNGOs constitute a significant population whose vote bank can not be ignored during the next general elections to Loksabha and Assembly.
