Krishna Pushkaralu 2016 – Pushkar Ghats in AP and Telangana

Krishna Pushkaralau Krishna Pushkaram is a Hindu festival of River Krishna. This festival occurs once in twelve years and celebrated for 12 days. The Krishna Pushkaralu is celebrated in Southern states of Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In 2016, Krishna Pushkaralu stars on 12th August 2016 and close on 23rd August 2016.

On the occasion of Krishna Pushkaralu, the pilgrims take a dip in Holy River (Krishna) and worship at the temples on the banks of the river. Vijayawada and Machilipatnam are famous Pushkar Ghats in AP.
