KYC Forms Download for HP, Indane and Bharat LPG Companies

The Government of India has extended the last date for the submission of KYC forms by LPG consumers till 15th November 2012. The Indane, HP, Bharat LPG Customers and other can download the relevant KYC forms from the links given below. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry has decided to the extend the date considering the huge ques at the LPG distributor offices. Customers have to submit the filled in KYC form, Photo ID proof, Distributor’s Subscription copy and a passport size colour photograph. Download the forms from the links given below:

The move is aimed at removing duplicate, ghost and multiple subsidized LPG connections. All the three Government owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) – Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited had asked the domestic LPG distributors to expedite the process of collecting and verifying the KYC forms.

The decision to introduce KYC is followed by the the previous month decision to cap the supply of subsidized LPG to six cylinders per household in a year. The oil marketing companies are strictly implementing the policy of ‘one household, one connection’.

The distributors will cancel the multiple connections if any in the name of husband and wife in a house and connections in the same name and address. If multiple connections are there at the same address under different names, the distributors will verify the KYC forms to find out genuine customers.

  2. Dear Sir,

I advise you to make centralised gas connection no. (something similar to PAN) so that all fake connnections / multiple connections can be identified easily.

This will avoid wastage of time for filling form, waiting in long queue for subimitting form, verification of data etc….. This will also save working class who otherwise have to take a leave from offices just for submitting form.

This is not justified to keep on asking new requirements due to failure of Oil compnaies system etc.. Why are they not able to catch fake connections at the first stage while allocating the connection itself.

  5. Non provision of on-line submission of KYC, is ridiculous for those who are availing “Navratna Status”. Not withstanding, these company employees get paid almost highest salary in INDIA, & presents a Road-hawker status. Certainly, they further intend to squeeze the blood of “Aam-Aadmi” in this 3G & 4G era. They want that, people should waste 2-3 days LEAVE for submitting the same on the single window of their franchisee’s hut. Of course this is Nav-ratna style of functioning.

    • Hi Deepak Sinha, Don’t wait till the last date. I submitted on Monday and finished the process within five minutes. The problem comes when you wait till the closing date. Coming to procedures, thats really frustrating for common man. They do not ask any thing for corporate loans but need hundreds of ID and Residential proofs for an LPG connection. Tough days are ahead for subsidized LPG users.
