plot for sale in Hyderabad Following are the penal charges and other details of LRS scheme in Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, and other towns and municipalities of Telangana state. The penal fee for land regularisation scheme (LRS) in Hyderabad and Telangana ranges from Rs. 200 per square meter (For plots less than 100 square meters) to Rs. 750 per square meter (for plots more than 500 square meters).

Land Regularisation Scheme Charges (LRS) – 2015:

1) Below 100 square meters: Rs. 200 per square meter
2) Between 101 – 300 square meters: Rs. 400 per square meter
3) Between 301 – 500 square meters: Rs. 600 per square meter
4) Over 500 square meters: Rs. 750 per square meter
5) Slum Dwellers: Rs. 5 per square meter

Huge relaxation is offered for slum dwellers as they need to pay just Rs. 5 per square meter to get their plots considered for regularisation.

The Government is also mulling over setting up of a separate tribunal and denying registrations for unauthorised plots and flats in future. Both of these need amendments to the existing acts.

  1. The regularisation charges are very high. The cost in the middle of the city and out skirts are same irrespective of its cost I.e. Rs.2 crores and Rs.2 lakhs. It is funny. Response will be poor in such case.

    It should be less than 10% of the plot cost and it will be comfortable to he public.

    Approximate value of the land is Rs.6000 per sq. Yard

    Thank you for the details. I purchased two plots near Balapur, Saroornagar mandal, Rangareddy district. These plosts are actually part of a big venture, where they purchased land from farmers and made them as plots.

    I see there are different rates for different types of lands (agriculture, slum, residential…etc..), so I am not sure if my plot/venture comes as agriculture land or a residential plot. The venture owners asking me to pay INR 350 per Square yard. Is this reasonable?

We purchased 200 square yards in shadnagar and we applied for LRS in the year 5/12/2012 and paid Rs 35,525 /- but till now we did not get any information, recently we got information that it was rejected because it was registered as open plot . Application number is HMDAL054560. Again we paid 10,000 december 2015. When we get LRS what we need to do

  6. Dear Sir We are purchasing new house 45 sq yards at medipally as per builder information they have LRS for land and he is constructing G+1 house .
    he is saying G+1 permission below 100yards not providing government only we will get house no for this
    is it correct or not please clarify that
    2. LRS not taken on 45 yards bulilder have total 500 yards he had taken LRS for total land.
    3.Now we have to take Seperate LRS for 45 yards or not
