MPs from Andhra Pradesh after 2009 Elections

It was a huge victory for the Congres Party in 2009 Parliamentary elections to Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. The then chief minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy was the mastermind behind the victory with his popular welfare programmes combined with so many central schemes like bank debt waivers for farmers. The Congress party managed to win 33 Lok Sabha seats, biggest number from any state in India for Inidan National Congress in that elections. The other seats that have gone in favour of TDP - 6, 2 for TRS and 1 for AIMIM. The PRP of Chiranjee failed to create any impact in Lok Sabha election, through it succeeded to some extent in Assembly elections.
