Now it is the turn of the Government of Andhra Pradesh to conduct a comprehensive household survey in the state. The state government is proposed to conduct the survey to secure all the information of households like the Aadhaar card numbers, gas connections, ration cards, bank accounts etc.
The survey, likely to be named as Peoples Empowerment Survey / Public Empowerment Survey will be conducted after Ramzan. The survey will also include the issues like number of people in the household, annual income of the family.
The Government of AP will also offer services through this survey. People without ration cards, aadhaar cards, bank accounts will be identified and the same will be issued instantly if possible OR will be forwarded to the departments concerned for clearance.
All the houses will be geo tagged with the help of zipper code. Bio metric identifications will be collected from the people who do not have Aadhaar cards. Village level officials will be empowered with collecting biometric identification marks.
