Unmukt Chand has been on top after his cup winning batting performance in the Under – 19 Cricket World Cup in August 2012. He made an unbeaten century against Australia to bring cheers for the Junior Cricket Team of India through winning the world cup in Under – 19 category. Unmukt Chand is from Delhi and following is his brief profile / biodata.

Unmukt Chand’s full name is Unmukt Bharat Chand Thakur. He originally hails from Khudku Bhalya village of Pithoragarh District in Uttarakhand. Unmukt plays for Delhi team in the domestic cricket in India. He representing Delhi Daredevils in the IPL Twenty 20 format of the game. He captained the Under 19 team and steered the final game against Australia through his 111 knock at Townsville (Australia).

Unmukt Chand born on 26 March 1993. His height is 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m). He is a right handed batsman and his bowling style is Right arm off break. Unmukt was awarded Castrol Junior Cricketer of the Year for 2011.

Unmukt Chand’s father is Bharat Chand Thakur, a teacher at Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya at Surajmal Vihar. His mother’s name is Rajeshwari Chand. He studied at Delhi Public School, Noida. Unmukt Chand is presently a student of St. Stephens College, Delhi. Sanjay Bhardwaj, who coached Gautam Gambhir also trained Unmukt Chand.
