Arabhavi Assembly Constituency in Belgaum Karnataka is a stronghold of Janata Dal (Secular) Party. In 2008 Assembly Elections, Balachandra Lakshman Rao Jarakiholi has won from the constituency over his nearest rival and BJP candidate Vivekrao Vasantrao Patil.
