Duddilla Sridhar Babu is a son of former Speaker of AP Assembly, D. Sripada Rao. Sridhar Babu entered into active politics after the death of his father in 1999. He is representing Manthani Assembly constituency of Karimnagar district from the Congress Party and elected thrice as an MLA from the Assembly segment. Sridhar Babu was Graduated in Law from prestigious Delhi University and also practiced at AP High Court before entering into politics. Manthani Constituency is popular as it was represented by former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao. It is also one of the most backward constituencies of the region.
Sridhar Babu served as Minister for Higher Education in the cabinet of Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and continued with the same in Rosaiah’s period. He was shifted to Ministry of Civil Supplies in a recent shuffling by Chief Minister N. Kiran kumar Reddy. He also served as the TTD Trust Board member and as the government Whip. Sridhar Babu’s wife, Shailaja Iyyanar is an IAS officer and presently with the Commercial Taxes Department of Andhra Pradesh. Following is the brief profile of Sridhar Babu:

Dear MLA garu,
I don’t know why there is not even a single super luxury bus from Manthani to Hyderabad (and vice verse) in the night time. Now a days small villages and towns have super luxury services to reach hyderabad in the early hours so that they can go to their offices or colleges (especially on weekends). I have seen lot of passengers and even few patients who wants to go to hospitals, fighting for seats in the express service which is running now. Most of them were going to Karimnagar or Godavarikhani to catch another bus in the night time which is very inconvenient. I have seen at least 7-8 super luxury buses (GDK depo) running from Godavarikhani to Hyderabad during the late hrs. Why not Manthani?
I am requesting our hon.ble MLA Mr. Sridhar Babu garu to have a look in to this issue see that our bus depot. should run atleast two superluxury buses from Hyd-Manthani and Manthani-Hyd during the night hrs with reservation facility. Everybody consider the first thing in develepment of the constitution is the development of infra structure.
I am also requesting their followers to help us in reaching this issue to our MLA.
