Profile of Damodar Raja Narasimha- Andole

C. Damodar Rajanarasimha was elected to AP Assembly from Andole Constituency, Meak District for the third time in a sequence. He was elected during 1989, 2004 and 2009 elections. Rajanarasimha has been in news for a while as he was a serious front runner for the post of Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh along with his competitor, Dr. J. Geetha Reddy.

Raja Narasimha served as minister for Marketing during Y.S. Raja Sekhar Reddy’s rule in 2004-2009 and continued in the cabinet of K. Rosaiah. The new Chief Minister, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy honored him with an important portfolio of Higher Education. He is a strong contender for Dy. CM post, which is deferred by the Congress Party High Command for the time being.
