He was born on 1st June 1955 at Jayanna Trimualapur village of Mahabubnagar district. Chinna Reddy studied M.Sc. (Agriculture) Ph.D., LL.B. and has been associated with agriculture profession.
Apart from serving as an MLA for 3 Terms in AP Assembly, Chinna Reddy also held several public offices. He served as Ex. President, PAC (Public Accounts Committee) and also Ex. Chairman, A.P. Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. He also served as Chairman of TRCC (Telangana regional Congress Committee). He was married to Smt. Rama Devi and they have two sons.
