Profile of K.Jana Reddy- Nagarjuna Sagar

Kunduru Jana Reddy is a senior most leader and MLA of the Congress Party. He was elected 6 terms to the AP Assembly and served as Minister for Home, Agriculture, Co-Operative, Marketing, Transport, Panchayat Raj and Roads and Buildings in ministries of various Chief Ministers. He was elected from Chalakurthi Assembly Constituency of Nalgonda District till 2009. He changed his bastion to Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly Constituency in 2009 elections following delimitaion of constituencies and won from the same.

Jana Reddy served as Home Minister during 2004-2009 term of Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy. He was dropped from the cabinet during second term of YSR Government in 2009 and was sidelined to some extent. Jana Reddy became active again with Telangana issue and has been in fore front in running the show for a while.
