Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao, much popular as Kodali Nani has been in news in recent times for his political shifts. He met YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and expressed his loyalty to the party. The TDP has suspended him without any hesitation. Now it is almost certain that Kodali Nani is will be joining in YSR Congress Party soon or later. He is also likely to resign to his Assembly membership (MLA) along with the primary membership of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
The developments have sent shocks to the politically active Krishna district. Kodali Nani was elected consecutively in 2004 and 2009 elections from Gudivada Assembly Constituency. He is known as staunch follower of TDP and late NTR’s family.
The heads turned on Junior NTR and Nandamuri Harikrishna after Kodali Nani sent signals of exit from TDP. Both Hari Krishna and Junior NTR have denied the differences with TDP leadership and make little of their relationship with the outgoing MLA.
