Profile of Malkajgiri MP Sarvey Satyanarayana

Sarvey Sathyanarayana is an MP from Malkajgiri Constituency of Andhra Pradesh. The Malkajgiri Constituency is newly carved out after the implementation of reorganisation of constituencies in 2009. Earlier to this, Satyanarayana was elected to Lok Sabha from Siddipet Constituency in Medak district. Sarvey Satyanarayana is known as a staunch supporter of the leadership of the Nehru – Gandhi family. He always quotes Sonia Gandhi as ‘Amma’ (Mother). Parents of Sarvey Satyanarayana are S. Laxmaiah and Smt. S. Mallamma. He born on 04-04-1954 at Hyderabad. He was married to Smt. Sunita Satyanarayana on 22 June 1981 and they have a son a two daughters. He studied B.A, LL.B. and educated at Osmania University and Osmania Evening College of Law, Hyderabad. He practiced law for sometime and entered into politics. His permanent address is at Plot No. 43, TI , Road No. 4, TMC Mahendra Hills, East Marredpally, Secunderabad (Andhra Pradesh).

Sarvey Satyanarayana has served as a member (MLA) of AP Assembly during 1985-99. He was also a member of Member, HUDA, Hyderabad, Traffic Board, Andhra Pradesh and Committee on Public Undertakings, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He elected to Lok Sabha for the first time in 2004 from Siddipet Constituency. He contested and won from Malkajgiri Consituency in 2009 elections. He defeated T Devender Goud of PRP (Now in TDP) and Lavu Rathaiah of Vignan Educational Institutions from Lok Satta Party in that elections. Satyanarayana was also a member in the committees on Industry, Commerce, Rehabillitation Council of India and member of the Executive Committee of Congress Parliamentary Party (C.P.P.).
