    Respected Madam,
We are highly privileged and honoured to do this letter to you. Madam, from the numerous sources bear the evidents of your altruistic nature.
Actually it was unofficially 1887, a silent revolution took place at Kanchannagar, (once acclaimed historically for its Cutlery Industry) under the Mahtab dynasty in Burdwan. The grate philanthropist Mr. Dinanath Das wished to set up a school with all his savings in such an area where people could hardly think of education as most of the residents in the this area were in hand to mouth situation to execute his dream he formed a trusty and donated Rs.50000/-. More than 75% of SC&ST- students come from poor worker family and it is very trouble some for donating some money for healthy education. In this situtation, we are feeling rather helpless. Large amount of financial assistance can shape the slogan “ Education for all” by developing and improving “Student resource” of the 124 years ‘Old School’’. And that will be a proper homage to the dedication of the great munificent D.N.Das as well as the slogan of ‘EDUCATION’.

A new light surged over the every corner of this locality; an overwhelming enthusiasm filled up every one. In the year 1906 the school got its affiliation under the University of Calcutta. We had celebrated its 100 yrs. Journey three years ago successfully with the help of every segment of this locality and the teachers of this institution.

For your kind information, most of our students are first generation learners. Sir, our dream is to place this all time-neglected school in the mind of every inhabitant of Kanchannagar, Burdwan-713102. But without a good ‘LIBRARY’ or a good ‘LABORATORY’ our dream will not find a figure to emerge from the darkness. In this position, WE pray your extended co-operative hands with us.

We beg to inform you that Kanchannagar D.N.Das High School (H1-114), Kanchannagar, Burdwan-713102, had celebrated its “Centenary Festival” on 3rd May’07 by opening a ‘Computer Room, 25×20 sq ft and a Centenary Hall’. And our Computer education had run from that day for all students. It is learnt that your Department, is offering a prestigious amount of grant for improving education & research to some ‘Educational Institution’ that has covered 100-50 years in its age.

We beg to also inform you that Kanchannagar D.N.Das High School (H1-114), Kanchannagar, Burdwan, have been faced a major problem about healthy sitting arrangements of students, specially class-VIII & IX where the number of total pupils are 107 & 100 respectively and they come regularly. Proper care is immediately necessary for betterment of education. Guardians of class-VIII & IX have complained in the “Parent-Teacher Association Meeting ”. We have tried to understand the guardian in the meeting that we have already applied for ‘Post Centenary Grants of Rs. 7-laks & Computer Grants’ and also have claimed for unused rooms to the ‘D.N.Das Trusty’. But most unfortunately, we are not getting any above mentioned grants still now. In this circumstances, only you can solve our immediate problems.

We have a big ground outside the school campus which is being acquired by common people for their personal-use. In this situtation, we are feeling rather helpless to protect our own school ground. Large amount of financial assistance can FENCE AND REPAIR THE PLAY GROUND, and shape the slogan “ Education for all” by developing and improving “Student resource” of the 124 years ‘Old School’’. And that will be a proper homage to the dedication of the great munificent Dino Nath Das.

But Sir, we were too unfortunate to preserve all its documents as it faced the frown of natural calamity again and again. The geographical position compelled the school to open its doors to the victims of flood as it is situated by the embankment of the river Damodar. Sir, you are well-informed that Sarbya Siksha Abhijan announced a lump-sum grant to the Centenary schools. But unfortunately we are not enlisted as we can’t produce the affiliation paper of this school. Sir, We have already stated the condition of the locality. We would like to dream with them. We would like to provide a good building with enough class rooms along with a LABORATORY AND A GOOD LIBRARY. And OUR dreams come true if you please accord me the assistance.
Hope you will be kind enough to do this favour. With so many thanks.

  25. Respected Madam,
I am Arunabha Maji,a resident of Vill+P.O-Majirdanga,P.S-Sonamukhi,District-Bankura.Firstly ,I shall congratulate you,for your great victory in the last election of West Bengal. Then I would like to draw your attention about a long run problem of our locality.Madam.a river named Sali nadi is flowing near by our village. As a result,we cant not go outside of our village during rainy season.Patients left at home without treatment.Students can’t go to their school and colleges. We,the villagers applied many time in past to build a bridge over Sali nadi at our locality but all are in vain.If you be kind enough to take action on this particulars mater, then many people of our localities (Majirdanga,Chowla,Bandarkonda,Khidirpur, Kubirbandh village) will be very much benefited. Besides the road communication between Durgapur and Sonamukhi will be shorten to about 35 km only.
    Thanking you

  26. Respected Mamatadi,
At present I am working as a journalist and a social worker. I had been a social worker for last 40 years. I work for the benefit of disabled people. Though I personally went to Writers’ Building a fortnight ago and delivered a letter to the Principal Secretary, Transport Dept. Govt. of W.B. regarding torture of physically and visually challenged persons by the private bus conductors of Route Nos. 205,205A, 41,41B,SD5/1, 234, 234/1,40B, 47/1,west bengal surface transport corpn. buses and south bengal transport corpn. buses as well. Though the disabled are exempt from paying bus fare as per the Memorandum No.2203-WT/7B-22/2001 dated May 16, 2003 of the Transport Dept.,the disabled persons are forcibly evicted from running buses and their belongings and valuables snatched from them and also they are abused in filthy language as they are cheating the bus owners. When the conductors see a disabled person waiting at a Bus Stop, they ring the bell so that the driver does not make a stop. Often the conductors don’t let the disabled person to disembark at their destination. They are hijacked 2/3 stops away accompanied by vulgar abuses. Would you be kind enough to see that this torture comes to an end soon. The disabled people in the City and suburbs will bless you for remedial actions. Thank you very much, Sincerely yours, Srikumar Chatterjee

My father Ashim Kumar Goswami is a C.I of FOOD & SUPPLY, posted in Katowa at Burdwan. He has a minor nerve problem, attacked by Cerebral in 2000, he is till taking medicines . My widow Grand-ma is 80 years old, I’ve three uncles; one of them is handicapped, and another of my uncle’s is unemployed ,and one uncle has a small Xerox centre at Burdwan. We’ve no own home in our honor, it seems surprise able but it’s true, being the elder son of our family he used to take care of his family first ,and just because of what he couldn’t be able to do a home in his honor. Now we are a renter at Burdwan, though my father has a authority to get a housing quarter at Burdwan, but he couldn’t able to get for some official reason. From very earlier of 1995 he did many applications to get this housing quarter, but till now we’ve no reports from the office . We are becoming very hopeless and my mother becomes too much ill again and again, because my father will retired from his job in 2013 and till now we are renter.

  32. In the today’s hi-speed & polluted world, trams have turned to be a heritage & pollution free mass transport system.
So we must & must preserve and modernize it , but we also have to keep up mind the commercial aspect of maintaining and running the this excellent mode of transport.
In this unplanned city of kolkata, where there are narrow roads, un obeying traffic and public. The smooth and hassle free tram ride will turn into a nightmare as the days will pass on. Moreover, introduction of metro railways in and around the city as planned by our honorable didi will help the in and out bound traffic and public to a great extent.
Hence, to keep this transport as an heritage tourist attraction along with our sonar bangla, I request our pujonio didi to make a plan, to run the trams throughout our green bengal [villages]. It would be lovely to see the pollution free cars running through the lush green fields, small and big ponds, thatched roofed huts with mud walls, little kids running around. It would not only help the village population as a genuine government transport, a mode of employment, but also to the tourist who want to see and enjoy the rich culture of our sonar bangla.
Yes, I do acknowledge there will be some legal and technical aspects which I am not fully acquainted with, as problems during rainy season, power distribution in villages, land acquisition etc.
On same line I also know we possess a rich technical personnel and also a new honest and energetic government headed by our didi who if wishes could bring this project into reality.

  36. Tanisha’s problem started when she was barely two months old. She was first taken to NRS hospital in Kolkata and then to Apollo hospital where doctor found that her heart was on the right side of her chest. Dr Joyati Sengupta recommended Tanisha’s parents — Subrata Saha and Deepa Saha — to consult Dr Balakrishnan, who has handled 20,000 surgeries and seven to eight cases similar to Tanisha’s.
For the parents of four-month-old Tanisha, a team of Chennai doctors are no less than God. Chief cardiac surgeon Dr K R Balakrishnan and his team of doctors at Chennai’s Malar Hospital made all efforts, medically and financially, to help the child live.
Dr Balakrishnan and his team donated Rs 1.5 lakh for the child’s operation.
Born with Cyanotic Congenital heart defect — a condition where the heart is on the right side of chest — Tanisha’s right lung was under-developed. “This was a rare case. It is a very uncommon condition named Scimitar Syndrome. Congenital heart disease is responsible for more deaths in the first year of life. Many of these defects need to be followed carefully else they lead to a loss of life,” said Dr Balakrishnan who and his team successfully operated upon Tanisha on April 7.
With the blood pressure in Tanisha’s lung touching 120 MG — in normal child it is 20 MG — the doctors had to take the help of Viagra/ Sildenfril to reduce the blood pressure. Apart from the operation, Dr Balakrishnan says, the role of nurses was more important than the doctors because the child was in a ventilator for 40 days. Didi

My husband is working in WBSEDCL as a Senior Sub Asst Engg(Elec) and lastly posted as Station manager, Barakar Group Elec Supply. But he has been transferred to Malda and released while he is at bed rest being seriously ill. We prayed for modification due to the following reasons:
    1. He is an insulin dependent diabetic since 1999. 2.There is no other male member in our family. 3.My 75 yrs old mother, who is already very much ill, resides with us. 4. I have two daughters one of them will appear for ICSE on March’2012. 5. The other daughter is studying at class-7 at Asansol. But no humanitarian action has been taken by the administration. At this condition we are passing the days with great anxiety as it is impossible for us to maintain two nos establishments and my husband takes 30 units of insulin two times each every day alongwith other medicines. Now when all the citizens are hoping for a gallant life under your MAA MATI MANUSH er Sarkar, we are practically destined to die. Didi, Please do something for us to save our family from getting extinct. Any place of posting under Asansol Sub Division will be a life saver and we pray to God that our beloved Didi may live long and bring happiness to all the citizens of West Bengal who have been kept as slaves for the last 20 years. Large amount of financial expenses was already exhausted by developing and improving of the land, The great C.P.M took the land to distribute among refugees came for East Pakistan. And that will be a proper homage to the dedication of the great munificent late Mrs Santi Bose whoes utmost desiure was to develove primary school.

  65. Respected CM (Madam),
Sorry to inform you that after two decades of hell custody under Left Front Government we were hoping a new Sun is about to rise, that will wipe out all the pain & tears that has been stored in the heart of our people for the years. The worst governance already made us dead, but your promises made us alive. Now it seems that all of your declarations were oriented mainly either by a political ground or by some emotional colors, that will never get any momentum in real life. “Singur-Ten lakh vacancies”, all made us silent. The only word we use to hear these days, that the previous government made us empty. Restore Future, rather than criticizing Past. Just move your so called, ‘monitoring committee’ to have a visit to the district employment exchanges, how does it actually sounds internally. London, Switzerland, Goa & now Singapore; good to hear but what will we do with those big names. Yes…., the future generation will be seated on a foreign name with a begging bowl, providing their educational certificates. Should we join Maoist group that at least in future we’ll be honored with monetary support. Pl do the needful that will provide vacancies for those who are still unemployed for this state only, before it gets little late.
Take my apologies for this rough comments.
I know your kind moderation will erase me. But listen to unseen silent vibration, that is also making sound in just 123 days, may be tiny for you but for us its huge.
You got 1500 days more to react. Make it hello or heaven.
    Thanking You.

Definitely good news but reconsider once more, bcos u r going to disturb 3351 prodhans & their followers. It would b better if u’ve thought of picking local educated youths from local clubs. They’ll serve better than any one & in need they will surely fight against corruption. By that u’ll also get a large number of followers automatically.

    Respected Madam,

I , Sreetama Roy, a student of class-XII, of Shri Shikshayatan School, Kolkata, sending you this mail as I am not in a position to meet you personally to narrate my feelings.

I am an ill fated student of the School as I was not sent-up for the Higher secondary Examination-2012 .
In this connection, I would like to state that I could not keep pace with the hectic schedule of school to finish the syllabus and holding test examination immediately after the classes are over. However, I am confident that I will be able to show satisfactory result in the final examination if I am given a chance to show my ability, as another two months are left for taking preparation. I am confident that I will definitely be able to keep my word , alternatively my education may come to an halt at this stage.
Madam, I know that you always encourage the students of our state to show their ability. On this score, I would like to mention that I had secured 81% marks in Madhyamik Examination 2010.

So long I have narrated only my story, but this is the story of my other co-students who could not keep pace with the busy School schedule to finish the syllabus within shortest time and was detained, most of whom will be able to show good result if they are given a chance to prove their ability.

At this stage only you can help the poor , ill-fated students like us, who love education and want to continue education without loosing a year.

    Kindly help,

    Yours Sincerely,

I send all my documents to The Joint Director, Scholarship & Stipend Section, Bikash Bhavan, 9 th floor, Salt Lake, Kolkata 700091 through speed post on 23. 11. 2010, the whole thing was 65 gm and speed post tracking no: EW6828279591N. But, I have bill of speed post and from which I saw materials was delivered to the appropriate address before last date of application.

They are all thick skinned people who feels no prick of sympathy or humanity. All i want to ask is if i am following all proper procedures then why everytime all i get to hear is “come some other day”..but thats not done. I am fed up & fustrated 2 get into fruitless conversation with them.

This is to bring to your kind notice that myself sneha agarwal, permanent resident of west bengal, staying in siliguri is keenly interested to study m.b.b.s. I passed out my metric(class 10) in the year 2007 with 93% and H.S(class 12th)in 2009 with 89%.Till now i have appeared for joint entrance(w.b.jee) thrice. I cleared twice with a rank of “1320” in the year 2010and ‘2048″ in the year 2011.Both the times i was alloted haldia dental college in the counselling.I dint take admissions for quite q many reasons.first of all it is a private college and our financial condition is not stable so i didn’t want to add pressure on my father because i have my younger sister and brother also studying. That college was under political dispute since its inception. And moreover i had an inbuilt desire to study mbbs.I literally begged in front of many people in calcutta medical college in 1st counselling and in nilratan sarkar during second counselling to give me one chance to study medicals.I went to all the officials for help but no one could help.Mam its not that i am failing.I have been clearing the exams amongst lakhs of students but my bad luck that i cant secure mbbs rank.Mam its been 3 years now and my family is literally fed up and has lost hope.I was a bright student throughout my school life and now everyone is very sad to see me in this way, stuck in life.
Mam you are well aware that many seats remain vacant in many government medical colleges in west bengal with respect to a.i.p.m.t quota and many seats fall vacant due to children leaving the college after admissions.I am sure about this because i went to medical colleges and confirmed it and i have my friends studying also who have further assured me.Out of so many seats please just give me 1 seat.Give me one chance to prove my calibre..Just let me study till 1st semester and see my results and then decide mam.,I promise to do very well and if u feel i dont deserve you may ask me to leave the college. But just give me one chance mam.
Anticipating your support and hope you reply soon,

  110. Respected Madam,

The employees of the Burdwan University Directorate of Distance Education beg to bring your kind notice the following facts vis-à-vis the Orders passed by the Hon’ble High Court, Kolkata for your kind perusal and necessary action.
It may be stated here that there was no problem in the past while taking 16 persons, who served in the Directorate of Correspondence Course (now named as Directorate of Distance Education) were taken in the mainstream of the University without having any need for sanction of posts from the Government by the University. Subsequently, in 2007 four employees belonging to the Burdwan University Directorate of Distance Education have been picked and chosen and placed in the main stream of the University with financial benefits. It may be stated that this time also no problem of sanction of posts from the West Bengal Government has been sought for and the University out of its own accommodated these 16+4 = 20 persons. Against the injustice of taking 4 persons from amongst us, we moved the Hon’ble High Court, at a time with even great risk, when the Ruling Party was Left Front. The Hon’ble Mr. Justice Tapen Sen on hearing the Learned Advocates appearing for the Parties has been graciously pleased to comment –
“They cannot therefore be allowed to adopt a step-motherly treatment in so far as the Petitioners are concerned and grant a particular set of benefits to one set of employees and deprive/deny the same set of benefits to another set of employees who stand on an identical pedestal. If they are allowed to do so, it would amount to creating ‘Class-within-a-Class’ which, in the opinion of the Court, would be a complete deviation from the principles laid down under Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India.”

The Hon’ble Justice on hearing the Learned Advocates appearing for the Parties has been graciously pleased to pass orders which inter alia stated that –
“Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances this Court has no hesitation in holding that the Petitioners have the right to be treated similarly as the four junior staff that were absorbed into the mainstream and given the status of mainstream employees by their order dated 17.4.2007. The Respondents are accordingly directed to treat the Petitioners as such and grant consequential benefits including continuity in service retrospectively from the date of their joining. They will also be entitled to all service benefits including seniority, promotion, gratuity etc.”

We may like to mention that inspite of clear verdict of the Hon’ble High Court, as stated hereinabove, the University authorities have been resorted to delaying the issue and creating unnecessary harassment to us and it is learnt now that the University has preferred to refer the case to the Upper Bench of the Hon’ble High Court. As there is involvement of incurring high cost for contesting at the Upper Bench, it might be difficult for us to defray such expenditure and we might have to take loan with high interest from the market.

We like to bring to your kind notice that a Fixed Deposit of DDE amounting to Rs. 48-crores, 20 lakhs & 367.52 has been invested. The figure after maturity with interest would be about Rs. 75 crores. We think and presume that if this fixed deposit is taken by the Government there would not have been any difficulty in creation and sanction of post from the Government.

It may be stated that the State Government in its Department of Higher Education has written to the Vice-Chancellor two letters No. being 324-Edn(U)/IU(B)-15/2012 dated 26th March, 12, wherein it has been stated that “I am directed to request you to kindly take action as per Hon’ble High Court Order.” The second letter issued on 11th April, 2012 (No, 336-Edn (U)/IU (B)-15/12) stating that “I am directed to request you to wait for further clarification from this end.” It has no where been mentioned that the matter would be referred to Upper Bench of Hon’ble High Court. But insipite of the fact, and though the Executive Council has not in session, the University has unilaterally decided to refer the matter to the Upper Bench of the Hon’ble High Court, and thereby the action taken by the University is going to tarnish the very good name of the present Government, which is not desirable at all.

As you are at the helm of affairs and taking active part in the matter of streamlining the education system in a proper form, we would expect your intervention in this matter, as we think that your intervention would yield a good result.

Madam, we belong to general category of employees having small income and we had spent a lot of money to contest the Court Case and again we have been dragged to contest the case, which requires much more money. We have firm belief that you would take immediate necessary action to help us to come out from the stalemate.

  117. Respected Madam,

With due respect I beg to state that I already intimated this department by a letter dated 13.02.2012 and 10-04-2012 where I mentioned that I have been terminated since November,2011 from my service as a Part-time Lecturer in Computer Science & Technology by Vikram Chatterjee ,the Officer-in-Charge of CFTC, Budge Budge without any valid ground although I have the approval of engagement up to December,2011 of the Directorate of Technical Education & Training. More surprising to note that the said Officer-in-Charge has appointed another lady teacher of Mechanical trade in place of me and has allotted all my classes to her without any approval from the proper authority. It may please be noted that I am working in this Institute in the capacity of Part-time Lecturer since January,2006.

Under the above circumstances, you may understand the fate of my condition and realize the agony and depression of mind due to my sudden unemployment .

I therefore may pray graciously to you to take appropriate steps without any further delay for my unjustified termination of service.

    Thanking you,
    Yours sincerely

Last Saturday, some one has stolen my laptop (samsung mini), one bangle (wt approx 24 grm) from my house.
In that evening I went to lodge a complain at KHARDAH P.S. After waiting for approx 2 hours I was called for the same. I placed a written complain to lodge the General Diary. Unfortunately the duty officer asked me to submit the BILLs of the materials against which I’m complaining. I asked the officer whether it is possible to collect the bill for an ornament which has been given by my mother-in-law which she got from her mother. The officer replied “ami o sab kichu jani naa, document naa hole GD hobe naa, uthe parun ekhan theke taratari, eta thana”.
I was confused, being a citizen to whom should I lodge my complain. I don’t know when can we see the “Manabik” face of Police.
I returned home without making any complain.
    I don’t know whether this system will change or not…….. . . . … . . . . .

    The Chief Minister
    SMT. MAMATA BANERJEE
    Writers’ Buildings, Kolkata-1,
    West Bengal,

Sub: Complaint Against City Life Nursing Home Barasat regarding ill treatment of pregnant wife and premature delivery of child.

    Respected Madam,

With all due honors to you and your government myself Shubhajyoti Sinha is writing this letter in such a die heart condition as a father a new born baby to me and my wife where a person cannot but happy. But alas! This is not merry time for my family to distribute sweets to all and sundry as the just born baby had already turned into a breathless body owing to pneumonia carrying from CITY LIFE HOSPITAL PVT LTD, in an era to truly “Pariborton” of “MAA MATI MANUS” this is quite unexpected and shocking.

As the Health Minister of the State you have done a quite good job but the scenario is as same as above courtesy to a few private nursing homes made of not so good doctors and nurses. Our family is one of the victim of the formula and it started on the 04/06/2012 (01:03 pm) when my wife got admission into a nursing home name “ CITY LIFE HOSPITAL PVT LTD” at Barasat who are boasted of all the newest facilities at their grip. But to my utter surprise they don’t when my wife needed it most at night at the labour time. Though it is a premature baby or the untimely baby but if a person is properly cared then the baby faces the first turmoil well. The doctors and the nurses even threaten my spouse to shut her mouth at night less it may disturb others. Just imagine mam what a horrifying situation it can be for a lady without her husband at that time of hour in the dark night. Only the “aaya” stretch their helping hand to her. That’s not the end of our sad story but there is a twist when the Authority requested us to arrange an ambulance on our own to shift the baby to more equipped nursing home in Kolkata. Now my question is why a nursing home like CITY LIFE HOSPITAL PVT LTD is being granted to run their business on long turn? Are they regularly being checked? How dare they project the name of a particular N.I.C.U facility while they don’t have it? Don’t they have not been transformed into a man killing monsters?

I know that my statement may be not reached up to you or may be ridiculed but what can I do? We have lost our First baby for the mismanagement and for the shocking attitude of the Nursing Home and you know that nothing can replace that feeling of being parents for the first time or in a life time. A flower is being nipped in the bud for them.

Now as a Good Samaritan my families demand the proper punishment to the Nursing Home Authority so the nobody can loose their kith and Kin in near future. A ban should be imposed on them As the Guardian of the State we expect you to deliver your mantle properly and do justice to everyone.

Sub: Appeal for introduce of New Bus Route from DumDum to Sec-V via
    Newtown, Rajarhat,

    Respected Madam

This is to inform you that I am living in the area of 2No. Ward under KMC. Our nearest Railway Station is DumDum. I am working in a French based PMC Co. and my office located at Newtown and at Sec-V also.
Since from long time, there is no direct bus service from DumDum Station to Sector-V via Rajarhat. I have to expense INR. 50.00 per day to travel my office. To reach office, I take auto from DumDum to Nager Bazar, then Nager Bazar to Airport Gate No. 1, and from Airport to Newtown/Sector-V.
After development of Sector-V and Newtown, lots are people traveling by this way to reach their office.
So I would like to request you if you kindly order to Transport department to introduce a new bus service from DumDum Station to Sec-V via Newtown-Rajarhat, then lots of people will save their money and reach their office in-time.

I hope you will consider my appeal and consider for the interest of public.

  130. Respected madam, Here is an experience of agony. I’m from bishnupur, dist. bankura attended to r.t.o bankura for trial of two wheeler driving license on 21st nov. last. all learners have to attend this district office physically driving theirs without written intimation only depending on phonic own interest information with brokers/agents of rto/dm bankura. covering a range of more than 25kms. I expressed my agony to R.T.O/DM bankura . though technical officer rto mr. Bhowmic expressed him as not a servant of people. There is no rule, according to him, to provide another repeat chance/trial for the failures on that day. Let me know what is the purpose of government rules if the rules do not reach its extent benefit to the people. we all know that our government is elected by the people and work for the people and of the people. I come to know that an office for the same has been opened in Bishnupur but not run yet. How long we have to suffer for this. i am of 50yrs age. hope its speedy redrassal. please acknowledge it.

  133. Respected Madam,
I am manufacturing fly ash brick in Birbhum for last 2 years under PMEGP scheme sponsored by Khadi Board. 24 workers are attached with this unit. Several GOVT notifications (Central/State) instruct Govt/Public/Pvt construction agencies to use fly ash brick in construction work. I have requested District authorities to implement those notifications and to create a viable market for fly ash brick. But they have not done so. As a result my unit has become sick. Bank is creating pressure for repayment of loan and in a letter bank mentioned my unit as non performing asset. This unit is in a state to be captured by bank in near future.
We must adopt fly ash brick. Because
    1. Fly ash which is dumped near power plant is a polluting material. In fly ash brick that waste material is being used.
    2. Every year we are losing top soil by making clay brick. Fly ash brick is a solution to that problem.
    3. Fly ash brick is durable and cost effective compared to clay brick.
    4. In clay brick making green house gas produced during coal burning, can be stopped by adopting fly ash brick.

Therefore I request to create a viable market for fly ash brick and save many small scale units manufacturing fly ash brick.
    Thanking You,

  135. Dear Didi,
    what you say about this???

Bagrakote, 14 Aug 2013: Bagrakote Gram Panchayat under Malbazar Block was formed today by TMC despite of GJM having the majority. The reason was the GJM elected members of the GP arrived late on the day of board formation in the GP Office.
Though GJM leaders, insisted that their representatives arrived in the election venue on time but the police posted in the venue didnot allow them to participate in the board formation.

Protesting the denial of their participation in the Panchayat board formation GJM supporters blocked the National Highway 31 at Mina More for a few hours.
In the Panchayat election 10 candidates of GJM-JMM alliance were declared elected in the 20 seat, while the TMC bagged nine seats and the CPM one seat in the Bagrakote Gram Panchayat.
As the GJM-JMM alliance was sort of a seat for the board formation while negotiation with CPM was almost assured with positive support.
Saraki Mohapatra DM Jalpaiguri said the matter is not come into his knowledge but if the GJM submits a written complaint it will certainly be looked over and sorted out.
Binod Ghatani General Secretary of Western Dooars alleged that TMC has illegally made this attempt and we will certainly raise the matter to the district magistrate.
