Nadendla Manohar is representing from Tenali Assembly constituency (96), Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. He is the son of Nadendla Bhaskara Rao, who created history in his own way through toppling NT Ramarao during August 1984. The incident has been known as ‘August Crisis’. Presently, Nadendla Manohar is the Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. With the appointment of speaker N.Kiran Kumar Reddy as the Chief Minister of AP, Manohar is most likely to be elected as Speaker of the AP Assembly. Manohar was elected on the ticket of Congress Party during 2004 and 2009 Assembly elections.
