Eight terms MLA and senior Congress leader from Vizianagaram district, Penumatsa Sambasiva Raju is all set to join in to be launched YS Jagan’s party. Sambasive Raju is very much dejected after Congress Party rejected him to field with MP ticket from Vizianagaram Constituency. Botcha Satyanarayana, who is once disciple of Sambasiva Raju has turned the tables at Congress high command and succeeded to field his wife Jhansi Botcha from Vizianagaram Lok Sabha Constituency. This has further agonised Sambasiva Raju who find solace at Y.S. Jagan’s camp at last.
Sambasiva Raju has represented Sathivada Assembly constituency (21- Vizianagaram District) since 1978. He had won as an independent candidate in 1967 and unanimously in 1972 as Congress nominee from Gajapathinagaram Assembly Constituency.
