Pinipe Viswarup is a Minister for Animal Welfare and Husbandry in the cabinet of N. Kiran Kumar Reddy of the Congress Party. He is representing Amalapuram Assembly Constituency in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Earlier to this, Viswarup was elected as an MLA from Mummidivaram Constituency in 2004 elections. Mummidivaram has been changed from reserved constituency to general segment at the time of 2009 Assembly elections. Amalapuram has been converted to reserved constituency and Pinipe Viswaroop contested and won from Amalapuram.
