Profile of Vatti Vasant Kumar- Ungutur-West Godavari

Vatti Vasant Kumar is representing Unguturu Assembly Constituency, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. He was elected to AP Assembly for the first time in 2004 elections and won in 2009 elections for the second term. He is a srtong follower of Late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and served as Minister for Rural Development in his cabinet. Vatti Vasanth Kumar was reinducted into the cabinet by N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and was allotted portfolio of Tourism. Vatti resigned to his ministry immediately after allocation of portfolio on the grounds of humiliation to his community in allocating cabinet portfolios.
