Recruitment Exams Conducted by Staff Selection Commission

Staff Selection Commission was set up by Government of India for the purpose of filling Non – Technical vacant posts of Group B and Group C categories in Ministries and Departments of the Central Government. SSC conducts written examinations, interviews for various recruitments. SSC, as like UPSC conducts many exams as per the schedule fixed much earlier to the release of notification.

There have been some changes in the classification of posts and mix of tests recently following recommendations of the Administrative Reforms Commission. The entire recruitment process has been shortened to allow the candidates to concentrate on other competitive examinations. Following are some of the exams conducted by SSC regularly. 9. Recruitment of Sub – Inspectors in CBI
10. Recruitment of Sub- Inspectors of Police in Central Police Services
