The issue of black money has been rocking India for a while. The unofficial estimations says that about Rs. 25 lakh crores of Indian black money is deposited in various banks in abroad. The issue first came up during 2009 Lok Sabha elections when the BJP has promised to disclose all the Swiss Accounts and bring all the black money saved in Swiss Bank back to India and also announced that it will be declared as national wealth. After the completion of elections, Baba Ramdev has taken up the issue of black money and went on Satyagraha for 8 days during June 2011. Though no immediate decision has been expected from the Govt. of India, it has come up with an idea to collect the feed back of citizens through internet. Now anybody can send a mail to Govt. of India expressing their concerns and opinions on black money. The email id is bm-feedback@nic.in . Public can send their ideas and views on tackling various issues arising out of the menace of black money.

The email bm-feedback@nic.in was created on the server of the National Informatics Centre. General public can immediately send their opinions. They can suggest any measures like imposing huge penalties and punishments and making penal provisions to deal with the issue of black money. In response to the growing concern over the scale and impact of black money from people of various walks of life, the Government of India has also formed a committee headed by Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) Chairman Prakash Chandra. The committee will work on devising new strategies to deal with the issue. The Prakash Chandra committee is expected to submit its recommendations to the Center in the coming six months.

The email account bm-feedback@nic.in will be continuously monitored by the officials of Finance Ministry, Govt. of India. The ministry would place the aggregated messages / mails before Prakash Chandra committee.

    Dear Sir,
It is a good movement by the central Govt. to know the views of public on the issue. Since maximum Govt. systems are now involve with corruption, and even the name of earlier Chief justice of India favoured for decision making , then, I think everyone should be under Lokpal even Prime Minister, without any rank or portfolio. If so, then at least he will also fear that if I do such wrong, my big boss 'LOKPAL' sitting there. So, I agree with the views of Annaji to include the name of 'Prime Minister & Chief Justice under Lokpal. Thanking you

It is highly required to change/amendment in our constitution for those people who are involved in black money. Black money should be recovered and his complete property should be seized by GOI and that individual should be shot dead at India Gate in front of public so that other can take lessons that if they will be involved in black money business then their result will be same. Till death penalty will not be given to corrupted person, corruption will never end.
JAN LOK PAL BILL should be implemented for each and every body. Whether individual is holding any highest post in India no one should be exempted from J L P bill. Is there any guarantee that CJI or PM or Justices of SC or HC will not be corrupted, it is so, then why they should be exempted. They are also human being and they can corrupt at any stage of their life. Our motto is such that if any body is corrupt he must should be punished with death penalty only then our country can become corruption less. The member of J L P Bill will also be punished by same punishment if they found corrupt at any stage of their life. So there should not be any ambiguity regarding any post. Please make a note that today you are the PM/CJI and tomorrow some body else will hold the same post then their is no matter to excuse for any body when that body is found guilty.

The list of Black money holder should be published immediately to the interest of public other wise it will prove that all the ministers of GOI are in the list. Public of India wants to know that culprits who has stolen our money and keeping in other country it means they are digging our economic status of country and supporting to other country. If ministers of GOI are not involved in black money then why GOI is hesitating to disclose the name of culprits.

Since every Ministers,MPs, MLAs etc. including Primeminister are elected directly or indirectly by General Election/Public voting, so except President of India all should include in the LOKPAL including Primeminister, Chiefminister etc. for making a corruption free country. No body should be exceptional. So that we can proud for our country like Japan.
Not only this, Govt. should not declare prizes, Money, free food items like Rice etc. to poors partially keeping in view the upcoming election like bribe without the consent of public or permission of Supreme Court which leads to corruption. Indirectly it increses the price hike & inflation. Views of tax payer should be looked after.

It is ridiculous Govt. is asking a feed back on such an issue on which Govt. on its should initiated action to bring the black money stashed in foreign banks and punished the culprits with in a time frame. For such thing no agitation is necessary. On the other hand when some one is agitating all tricks are being layed by the Govt. and the party running it to defame the agitators, crush the agitation etc., Fortunately India people are very docile and not resorting to the type of agitations of the countries recently seen like Egypt, now ongoing Lybiya. When patience of the people reaches the saturation point then it can never be controlled/crushed in the manner now ongoing with the police force. PM and Judiciary should be in the Lok Pal and it should be a stringent one with honest officials and other supporting staff.

Our political system need a revamp but who bells the cat? For seeking a small employment one should get qualified in a specific field. But those who make legislations need not have any specialisation in any particular field. Therefore, a proper curriculum should be crafted and institutions should be set up to enroll those who wish to enter public life to serve the people. The entry point to serve the people should be village/mandal level and they should get graduated to the next grade instead of some one rushing to contest as MLA/MP simply because he/she hails from a political family. There should be a representative system of elections held based on the population of a particular community so that they are proportionately get the representation in the law making bodies. As they are entering politics to serve the people they should be paid the lowest amount which the public funds can afford. Even they are paid about Rs.45 - 50 lakhs per annum still they are not happy. The wealth of the present politicans above RS.1 crore should be nationlised. The wealth of the people alleged of corrupt practices should be seized and kept in safe deposit, and the corruption case on them should be tried expeditiously and punishment or acquittal awarded with in a time frame. The Manifestos or speeches of the contesting parties/candidates should be got registered with EC to make them decent. When a small company trying to raise capital from public is required to register its Prospectus/the offer document with Securities Echange Board of India is it not fair to seek the manifesto or speech of the prosepective law makers registered. The parties or candidates should be barred from making inducements in the form of gifts to the voters which is nothing but bribing the voters with public money. These steps minimise the accumulation of black money or routing the black money stashed in tax haven countries in the form of FDI in the industries. There are several sensitive departments in which employment is a boon to become Kuberas. First wealth of such employees should be nationalised. The officials should declare their wealth and their relatives falling with in the scope of Section 6 of the Companies Act, 1956. New entrants to service should declare at the time of joining the post. These people should update the declaration periodically say once in two years. Willing voluntaries should be roped in from all walks of life and committees formed with them so that they go to the assigned locality and take inventory in the houses of the employees and others which can be compiled and evaluated whether a particular person(s) living beyond the known sources of income. Based on the investigation of the selected few who were found to be living beyond their means proceedings and further action can be initiated. If suggestion/complaint boxes are kept in vintage points, banks ATM centres people can post their complainants and suggestions and they also can be compiled and evaluated and further action taken on those who were found to be guilty of corruption. This a novel way of knowing because the neighbours know the style of living and they bring it to the notice of authorities.

Farmers must be funded and agriculture industries must be boosted up. Indians are so much skilled, govt. should use it and eradicate poverty. Being a true citizen of India, its the right and responsibility of each and every individual to make his country free from poverty, unemployment, scarcity of basic amenities, unhealthy environment and the devils of the society. And this is just not possible without a sincere and honest effort of our government, beaureaucrat, diplomat and every citizen of India.

What Anna Hazare is demanding... Just a strong law.... which can book the culprits behind the bar... i cant understand why an honest citizen (Citizen includes not only the so called "AAM AADMI" but also the politicians, beaureaucrats, diplomats etc) will be affraid of making a strong law... but yes ...the corrupts will never like to make such strong law which can penalise each and every individual of India irrespective of his post and profile ...
So, in my opinion if any one is against this law definitely he is a corrupt man.

Now about Baba Ramdev.... what he is asking ...bring the black money back to India and declare it as the national property. What is harm in this ???
Only those people will not like this whose money is there in these accounts. In India, if any one fails to pay the income tax, he is penalised, his property is ceased and many more things.... then why blacke money should not be ceased and made national property.

Yes, in this two topic I am in full support of Annz Hazare and Baba Ramdev.

Respected and honorable Prime Minister Ji,

Take the effective steps to curb this menace and epidemic of Black Money from Indian Society with iron hand.

The followings are few suggested steps from common Indians:-

    (1) Preparation of database of all Indians since 1980 who have visited/ are visiting tax haven countries and put their name on Govt. Web sites.
    (2) Declaration of all black money as national asset either in foreign banks or within country.
    (3) Setting up of fast track courts from District level for quick settlement of all crimes related to financial irregularity with in stipulated time frame of maximum one year with sever and harsh punishment and provision of recovery of slashed away money/ black money.
    (4) Cancellation of licenses of banks of tax haven countries in India.
    (5) Call in One Thousand and Five Hundred rupees notes. This step will also reduce the problem of fake currency to a great extent as well as break back bone of network of terrorist, nexalites and anti national elements and any revenue losses on this account can't be above and over the national security.
    (6) Formulation of strict laws for implementation of United Nation Convention against Corruption and Black Money.
    (7) Closing of Mauritius Route and renewal of tax treaty with Mauritius.

Respected and honorable Prime Minister Ji, if solution is done at the right time then issues are killed permanently, otherwise some one else will take place of Swami Ram Dev Ji and Anna Hazare to raise the same again and again……….?. It is now on you and your team to take credit as a “ National Hero” of a devoted national team or depict your image as a “ Mazboor” Prime Minister of a “Helpless” Govt. before next General Election please.

Any black symbol is a ominous sign. It is a magnum opus to exchange the black into white & pure eventually taxable. There should be huge debate on this issue pertaining to its transferability within the countries, the source of saving of black money, nationalization of black money, and the utilization of fund through RBI force and the excusableness for keeping black money. Black money keeper also a rational animal. Therefore a methodically systemized procedure to be amended for the restoration of indigenous negotiable instrument.

    Dear sir
First of all govt should check the status of the BM now and 1 year before in the accounts it helps to estimate the BM exactly.
The govt should adopt 2 ways to tackle the BM-
    1. Those people who give the complete information about the way of earning. The Govt should cut the tax from there amount and release the left amount.
    2. Those people who earn the money from illegal works or those who are unable to give the complete information about the BM, the govt should declare the BM as national asset.

Sir please make the strong JAN LOKPAL BILL to protect the INDIA.
please also take complete suggestions from team Anna, dont neglect there comments on bill.

    MY SUGGESTION IS AS FOLLOW.
BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW IT'S WORK AS NOBODY WANTS TO PUT BRAKE FOR THE CORRUPTION . IF IT IS SO IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED BY THE TIME. THE THING IS
    1. ALL THE MONEY TRASACTION SOULD BE BANNED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.
2 SALARY OR WHATEVER IT MAY BE HANDLED TROUGH BANK CARD ONLY.
    3. BUY AND SELL ALSO CAN BE DONE TROUGH CARD ONLY.
    4. THE TRANSACTION SHOULD MONITORED BY BANK ITSELF OR BY THE NOMINATED ONE.
    5. IF ANY UN UNUSUAL TRANSACTION FOUND WITH PARTICULAR PERSON HE SHOULD HANDED OVER TO POLICE STATION AND HE SHOULD PROVE THAT THE TRANSACTION IS THE RIGHT ONE.
AS GOVT HAS ANNOUNCED THERE IS NO VALUE FOR HOT CASH ALL THE HIDDEN WILL COME OUT OR GOES IN VAIN.
EVERY TRANSACTION THROUGH CARD SHOULD WITNESSED BY THE RECEIVER BY GIVEN IN WRITTING FROM WHOM HE RECEIVES FOR WHAT AND THE BOTH SHOULD HAVE SIGN IN THE BILL FORMAT.

Dear All, We all know that, black money is who's & it is why?. it is money earn by our great Curroptors. Because, an ordinary Men or Women, of our poor country is not deposit into foreign banks. it cannot deposit Rs. 10/- in daily recurring in our indian banks. The question of deposit money in foreign bank is too long?
All political parties how obtained the funds & how eleted the elections, we also know. World Bank, IMF & other banks give loan to an Indian Government & State Governments for developing & we also know that, where it is going?
So, It is our responsibilities that, if we cann't alive fight against the currepotions & Inflation of India but, as per my view it is possible we give support to Ramdev Baba & Anna Hajare. Because anybody defeat the single person, but when there is a unity that time noone can defeat to man. so today's need is to unity.
Our hon'ble government of india declared that, how Ramdev Baba & Anna Hajare earn the money for our trust. But, no of anyone in India who tell to minister, how you earn your property? Nor Opposition Party nor any minister of India because, we know that, every minister od India is currept. There is a fear in every indian that, if He/She (me also) ask about the matter of curreption or Inflation to the government or minister, then it is possible that, the person is die or the power of minister is give trouble.
No one in india who take care of every citizen. So, for this purpose we have to get unity for our best future.
I am with Ramdev Baba & Anna Hajare & with every person whos think is about Curreption & Inflation.

My comment on this issue is, We Cann't fight alive on the curruption in & but, we give support

Why the government still waiting to recover the black money from Swiss bank?
Because, the government themselves involved in this corruption (Most of the political leaders, Industrialist, sports person and stars) that is reason, they are stretching this issue for a long period of time. So everybody want to raise their hands against this issue very powerfully, then only they are putting effort by means of pressures and peoples concord.
I hope this move money will recover as soon as possible, will use this money to proper development of our country and the persons who are behind this problem should strictly punishable.

It is imperative to make all cash transactions transperant. There should be a system of issuing receipts with address and signature whenever any person receives cash/cheque for services rendered. Private college donation, Doctor's consultation , private tution fees, auto fare, milk vendors, barbers, vegetable vendors, hotels are few among many who take payment without giving receipts. This will go a long way in tackling black money.

We should have committee to check the work done by elected persons from a level of corporator /MLA/MP/MINISTERS. Black money/ fake currency notes/ galloping the rates for essential commodities are linked together. These will have catastrophic consequences unless they are dealt with rigidly, rapidly and rationally. Discreet analysis are required to be carried out by the Reserve Bank of India, Finance Ministry, Income Tax Department etc., in order to bring out the culprits and eradicate the same, keeping in perspective 'foresee and forestall' policy. Galloping the rates of petrol/diesel/cooking gas frequently will not solve the problem - this will affect the poor Indian citizens only.

The following have been suggested to go about tackling the menace of BLACK MONEY in INDIA;-

1.Most of the Jewellary shops in India were selling Diamond,Gold and Silver without issuing any
Receipt to the buyers .Peoples are also purchasing jewels without proper receipt fearing and payment of connected TAX. Most people were purchasing Jewels by using BLACK MONEY . Mantatory
Directions may be issued to all JEWELLARY SHOP MANAGEMENT FOR SELLING OF JEWELS ONLY BY
ISSUE OF RECEIPTS. This will definitely pave the way for arresting BLACK MONEY IN CIRCULATION.

2.Black Money declaration scheme must be introduced with specific time upto to which it

Can be declared.Black Money can be converted into white money after paying tax of 75% to the
Declared BLACK MONEY AMOUNT.For example if Rs.100/-lakhs have been declared as BLACK MONEY
Rs.75/-lakhs shall be paid as TAX within the specified period as may be notify by the government for
this purpose No criminal and as well as civil action shall be taken against the declared persons.
After the expiry of the declaration of the BLACK MONEY period is over and if any BLACK MONEY is
Seized from any person, severe punishment like LIFE IMPRISEMENT SHALL BE PROVIDED UNDER
THE CONCERNED LAW OF THE LAND.Only one APPEAL SHALL LIE.(SUPREME COURT) against the
    Order of the concerned AUTHORITY.

3.Strict norms shall be followed against MONEY TRANSFER COMPANIES FOR THE TRANSFER
OF FUNDS AND SUPERVISION SHALL BE TIGHTENED.

    .

4.Enforcement Authorities shall be given full freedom with regard to conduct raids against
    Suspected dignatories of FILM-WORLD.

5.IMMOVABLE PROPERITY PURCHASED Rs.1/-Crore and above, verification of income tax return

Corruption cannot be fully erradicated, because it often is human nature to mostly choose ones one well being above the general well being. It also is human nature to look away, when one sees somebody's mistakes or corrupt acts, if that person is a friend, or the relative/friend of a good friend or somebody one respects or fears.

However, corruption can be combated in the following ways:

    1. Stopping clientelism, and "job for friends/supporters-only" policy in government --> PROFESSIONALISM of the public administration is key. To work as a public servant in a ministry or other government agency has to be a career choice (why not for several decades?), and should not be interrumpted nor interfeered by the political cyclus (i.e. changing presidents/parties). Implementing meritocracy in the public service is a way to motivate professional public servants to do a good job in order to advance in their careers! Investing in improving the quality of Public Management/ Public Administration schools would do no harm, in order to increase the potential of the public servants to be.

    2. Restructuring the public service is necessary so that there are more checks and balances. Everybody's work should be controlled by another agency or department that is not conflicting with its interests.

    3. Transparency: where does each penny go to? What is done with public funding? How are decisions made? All this information should be collected and reported and should be available for outsiders and controlling agencies.

    4. Allowing for "tell on them without fear of losing your own job"-policies. If somebody is afraid that their job might be at risk after talking about corrupt activities of their superiors, or colleagues, they are not going to tell on them.

    5. Enforcing the judicial system so that officials, no matter what their range is, nor their status, get the punishment that they deserve, if cought doing something wrong.

I am sure I'm not discovering india by expressing my thoughts on how to fight corruption, but hey, I really think this type of approach can help. Hopefully people close to the DR government can read this and act upon it if they haven't been trying to do what I propose so far.

    jai hind.!!

The first thing that has to be done is put in the concience of the people that they don't need to pay a middleman for every single thing they need to do. It's too much a widespread practice that people expect to have to pay someone in the middle to get any kind of paper, service or contact with the govmt. In my opinion, you can't expect the government to cure it's own corrption, the people have to take the first step to fight against it....!!!

I AM PROUD OF OUR GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION. IT GAVE ENOUGH TIME TO CORRUPT PEOPLE TO BRING BACK THE BLACK MONEY FROM OTHER COUNTRIES, WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT,OTHERWISE IT MAY BE DIFFICULT TO BRING BLACK MONEY OR GOLD . HERE IT IS TO BE DECIDED WHEN WILL FIVE HUNDRED AND THOUSAND RUPEES NOTES ARE TO BE CANCELLED AS REQUESTED BY SOME PEOPLE AS ABOVE. SINCE THE INDIAN ECONOMY IS BOTH RIGID AND FLEXIBLE WE ARE SURVIVING AND WILL SURVIVE FURTHER ALSO. IN THIS CONTEXT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT A NEW SYSTEM IS TO BE EVOLVED IN INDIA TO ERADICATE CORRUPTION. DO NOT TRY TO SUPPRESS CORRUPTION OTHER WISE IT WILL SUPPRESS YOU . WHERE THERE IS DEVELOPMENT THERE WILL BE CORRUPTION. BUT IT SHOULD BE IN LIMITS TO CON TROLL THE THINGS IN RIGHT PATH. IN INDIA IT IS HIGH TIME TO EVOLVE A NEW SYSTEM TO BUILT MODERN LIVING INDIA FREE FROM CORRUPTION. ONCE BANK WERE NATIONALIZED, AND ERADICATED LOOTING OF PUBLIC BY BUSINESS PEOPLE .AND AT THE SAME TIME MORATORIUM ON PROMISSORY NOTES BELOW SOME RS 10000 / - OR LIKE THAT GAVE GOOD RESULTS. RECENTLY SQUASING / OR CANCELLING LOANS NEARLY RS 60000 / - CRORES IS NOT THAT MUCH CORRECT. THE PUBLIC DID NOT CAST THEIR VOTES IN RECENT ELECTIONS IN SUPPORT. SO THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD REALISE AND ACT ACCORDINGLY. IN NO WHERE IN ANY POLICY OR DECISSION / OR ACT /OR PLAN IN POLITICAL OR ECONOMICAL SIDE OF THE G . O .I DID NOT BRING A SITUATION IN ENTIRE PUBLIC LIFE THE DEDICATION TO NATION BY DEVELOPING PATRIOTISM AMONG POLITICAL LEADERS , IAS , IPS , GO"S, NGOS, AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS LIKE ENGINEERS ,ADMINISTRATORS ,LAWYERS IN LEGAL PROFESSION , CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTANTS WHICH DEVELOPPED THIS CORRUPT SITUATION. UNFORTUNATELY A TREND WAS DEVELOPPED IN PUBLIC LIFE AN OPINION AS ALL POLITICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS ARE CORRUPT WHICH RESULTED THE PUBLIC IS EXPECTING SOMETHING FROM ANY BODY FOR THEIR GOODNESS ALSO SINCE DUE TO LACK OF COFIDENCE. SO DEVELOP COFIDENCE IN PUBLIC WHICH AUTOMATICALLY ERADICATES 70 PERECENT CORRUPTION , THE BALANCE IS IN THE HANDS OF POLITICAL IAS IPS BIG SHOTS OF BUSINESSMAN , OTHER PROFESSIONALS WHICH CAN BE REDUCED BY GOVERNMENT POLICIES BY RELAXATION RULES IN FINANCE SIDE. FURTHER REMOVE PROPERTY RIGHTS OR RESTRICT PROPERTY RIGHTS BY LIMITATIONS . THIS WILL GIVE SOME RESULTS. I AM THANKFULL TO YOU GIVING ME OPPERTUNITY TO EXPRESS MY VIEWS.

Govt's image is tarnished today badly and its popularity is at zero level because of dishonest means adopted by Govt. against Baba Ram dev and Anna Hazare to discourage them and frustrate them. But all efforts of govt.will prove fruitless. Govt.is not at all serious about blackmoney and corruption but is making fool of the country men again and again. Now it will get its due in elections. This Govt.must quit to clear way for right persons to govern. This govt.has lost morality to govern. It is skin deep involved in corruption. It is the money of MPs, ministers, corporates stashed in foreign banks. common man has no knowledge of those banks nor have they capacity to deposit there. If govt.is really serious to curb corruption then they must bring blackmoney from outside and also demonetise higher currency notes in the country which are main source of blackmoney. All transactions should be done thro' banks via checks, drafts, ATM, debit cards etc. This will certainly help in eradicating blackmoney and corruption, and also it will increase liquidity of banks. But Govt.will never do it. Pakistan is sending so much fake currency notes to weaken economy and govt.is still sleeping over the problem. This problem will also go over. All transactions above a certain limit should be thro' nationalised banks only. For some time there will be teething problem but ultimately people will get used to it. I wish good luck to movements of Annaji and Ramdev. This govt.must be kicked out as soon as possible.

Black money and corruption are the two aspect of the same coin. Major part of black money is generated from the corruption, both can be curb by taking some steps and co-ordination of the some state and central departments. Firstly makes the registration of all the property whether movable or immovable of a prescribed price (not above than 50000/-rupee) and when a registrar register any property make bound him to put all the data of the owner including pan no. on a web site , failing of which make it a punishable heinous offence, The web site must be of in easy access of the general public. Moreover this website should be designed in such a manner that all the data of a person should be accumulated in one place on the site which can be search only by entering his pan no. . Make the law to protect and secure the complainant. Moreover if any property found unregistered it should be presume to be a stolen property and a the possisser should be punished as a thief unless contrary is proved. for more

The persons not to be punished for this who is having Balck Money abroad this time. Very Strict law is required to be draftd immediately and implemented.

I think simple system to curb the meneance of Black money to digitise the currency .
    1. Roll back all the form of paper and metalic currency.
    2. Issue the smart card at the time of birth with all transaction rights.
    3. Autogenerated trunsactions can be easily recorded/tracked.
    4. Easy to procure tax and dues.
    5. Each pie of moneywill be in the acknowledgement of Government treasury system.
May be some pitfalls. please discuss.
