Arvind Kejriwal has set to become the youngest chief minister of New Delhi. An anti - corruption activist, Arvind has formed Aam Admi Party (AAP) just an year back and surprised with thumping wins in the Delhi Assembly elections held in December 2013.
Arvind Kejriwal was an IRS officer and Raman Magassay Award winner for his campaign for Right to Information. He, along with Anna Hazare have fought for Lok Pal and succeeded in getting the Bill passed in Parliament.
But his decision to take outside support from the Congress party to form the government will certainly draw huge criticism from BJP. His fought against corruption was centered around the Congress from whom he is taking support to become CM of Delhi.
The critics waste no time to come heavy on him for his greed for power. The Congress is very much experienced in diluting any new movements and ideologies that could be risky to her. Let us see how far Arvind Kejriwal would keep his promises while being in power.
