September 4: Bharti Airtel has launched 'my airtel' app on 4th September 2012. The new generation app will facilitate mobile subscribers of any operator to check their outstanding bills along with several other services. The My Airtel app will also allow customers of fixed line / land line and DTH customers to avail the facilities.
The customers can now check the bills, register complaints, activate or deactivate services and make payments for Airtel services (mobile/ fixed line / broadband / DTH etc.). The service is available for all the customers free of cost. Airtel customers can avail services such as checking their outstanding bills, recharge accounts and make payments etc.
My Airtel app also can be used to order movies and games. This can be done without any assistance from the customer care of the company. You can manage all your Airtel services through the My Airtel account.
The Airtel has also clarified that the download charges will be applicable depending on the subscriber data connection for downloading the My Airtel application and accessing the application. For non - Airtel internet users, there will a one time SMS charge for authentication to their respective telecom operators. Interested customers may download the app from www.airtel.in .
