Pappala Chalapathirao is a senior politician of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) from Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. He served as an MLA and MP of the TDP. He won from Anakapalli Lok Sabha segment in 2004 Parliament elections. Following is the brief profile of P. Chalapathirao:

Chalapathi Rao was bron on 01-01-1946 in Dimili of Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh. His parents are Jogi Naidu and Mangamma. He was married to Chandra Kumari on 01 January 1974 and they have a son and two daughters. He studied Intermediate from A.V.N College, Vizag, Andhra Pradesh and basic profession is agriculture. His permanent address is at Dimili post, Rambilli Mandal, Vizag district.

Chalapathi Rao served as an MLA from 1985 to 2004 for consecutive four terms. He was a member of the committees on Public Accounts, Government Assurance Committee, Petitions Committee and Estimates Committee. He was Chairman of State Housing Board, Andhra Pradesh. He was elected to 14th Lok Sabha from Anakapalli in 2004.
