The Government of Telangana is proposed to launch a new website for the loan waiver scheme (Runa Maafee Scheme). The Telangana state has already implemented the crop / gold loan waiver scheme and the details of the scheme and beneficiaries / farmers list will be uploaded to the proposed website.
The details of loan waiver scheme at district, mandal and bank branch level will be uploaded to the website. The beneficiaries / farmers can check the details of waiver through the website.
The crop loan / agriculture loan upto Rs. 1 lakh has been waived off in Telangana, as per the promise of the TRS Party in 2014 elections. The details of the amount waived and the balance to be paid by the farmers will be available on the website.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh also implemented the crop loan / gold loan waiver scheme. The crop and gold loans have been waived off upto Rs. 1.5 lakh and the total amount will be disbursed in five equal installments in the bank accounts of the farmers at concerned bank branches.
