Aadhaar Cards Enrollment in Madhya Pradesh

The Government of Madhya Pradesh is implementing the UID Aadhaar Cards project in most of the districts in the state. The issue of Aadhaar cards is under progress in the many of the cities and towns. Madhya Pradesh has already completed first phase of issuing Aadhaar cards in Hoshangabad, Shajapur, Dewas, Harda and Burhanpur districts and contemplating to speed up the process in other districts. Those already enrolled can check the status of application Aadhaar Cards.

Madhya Pradesh has become the first Indian state to link Aadhaar UID Cards with the 12 digit number issued by UIDAI to implement the most popular program of the state, subsidised food grain scheme. The Govt. of MP has taken this initiative to eliminate fake beneficiaries of the subsidised food grain scheme totally. The state has already been cancelled lakhs of bogus ration cards over the last couple of years. The Governmetn of MP is also proposed to link the Aadhaar Card to withdraw salaries by employees.

The Department of Food and Civil Supplies is coordinating the entire Aadhaar Enrollment process. The department is also acting as UIDAI Registrar. Madhya Pradesh was also in the news some time back for misuse of Aadhaar Cards in the state by some anti social elements. The MP Police have seized fake Aadhaar Card with a 12 digit unique identity number bearing someone else’s name and used by some others.

Those want to enroll for Aadhaar can visit the near by Enrollment Camp organised by Food and Civil Supplies Department. You may be asked to submit relevant documents and certificates apart from biometrics. Applications can also be downloaded from the official Aadhaar (UIDIA) website uidai.gov.in and submit at the concerned camp / office.
