You need not be an user of Android, Nokia Voice Navigation and Apple Maps. You can avail Smart Drive app just with an Airtel mobile connection. See details of charges and installation guide below:
The Airtel’s paid applications is also available for Android phones along with other smart handsets. The Airtel Maps are provided with held of Wisepilot. The live traffic is available for NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore at the moment and will be extended to other cities soon.
The Airtel Smart Drive charges are Rs.99 per month and Rs. 10 per day. If you opt for real time traffic, you may have to pay additional Rs.49 per month and Rs.3 per day. Airtel customers can install the App through visiting this web page at http://www.airtellive.com/smartdrive .
Apart from Turn by Turn Voice Navigation and Live Traffic, which are paid services, you can also avail free features such as weather reports, getting directions through map, search points of interests and view maps.
