Jagananna Amma Vodi is one of the prestigious scheme of Government of Andhra Pradesh. The scheme is aimed at providing financial support to the families sending their children to schools. The scheme is part of Navaratnalu of YSRCP manifesto. The scheme will be launched in January 2020.
In case of absence of mother, the guardian will be the beneficiary of the scheme. And the family should be below poverty line. The scheme is applicable to the child / children from Class I to XII (Intermediate Education) in all Government, Private Aided and Private Unaided schools/ Junior Colleges including Residential Schools / Colleges in AP from the Academic year 2019-2020.
