Apply Online for Aadhaar Cards- Unique ID in Andhra Pradesh

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has started issue of Aadhaar Smart Cards for the people of the state. The issue of cards for Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts have been started long back and the process is still undergoing. The UIDAI has also started Aadhaar Enrollments at Post Offices in AP. The Government has also proposed to start issue of Aadhaar Cards in five more districts of the state initially and this has been announced in the Budget Speech of 2011-12. You can also download application forms available in English and Telugu Languages. To proceed with online registration, you need to enter your Ration Card No and get the details before entering family members particulars. If you have downloaded the Aadhaar application for offline submission, you may require to attach these documents or certificates along with printed application form.

Aadhaar cards will be considered for issue and implementation of various schemes like pensions, Arogya Sri, MGNREGS, LPG Connections, Student fee reimbursements and scholarships. Govt. Housing and subsidized Rice schemes under PDS. It is estimated that Govt. of AP has already enrolled six lakhs people under Aadhaar scheme.

First phase of Aadhaar enrollment has been under progress in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, East Godavari, Srikakulam, Adilabad, Anantapur and Chittoor. It is estimated that about 50 percent of enrollments were completed in these districts. But the delivery of unique number cards has been delayed due to logistic problems. The second phase of enrollment process for Aadhaar will commence from August 2011 in the remaining 16 districts of the state.
