Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has come up with an innovative scheme called ‘Baraat’ (Bus Advanced Reservation Anywhere to Anywhere Travel). The much awaited online reservation scheme will be implemented from 1st May 2011. Passengers can book APSRTC tickets for any place from any of the online booking counters of APSRTC. Details of online reservation between various stations available on www.apsrtconline.in . Passengers can use credit or debit cards for advanced reservation. Another feature of this facility is passengers can book the ticket with in one minute and get the status of various services.
Passengers who reserved tickets through Baraat scheme from any of the booking counters will get details of seat allotment through SMSs. Passengers can use this facility from 666 authorised ticket booking counters in the state. RTC is also planning to conduct passenger awareness campaigns on the facility of Baraat Fort Night. E-ticketing facility is available through apsrtc.gov.in .
