Congress Party Election Manifesto for Telangana Assembly Elections – 2018

Congress Party has released elections manifesto for Telangana Assembly Elections – 2018. Following are the key promises made by Congress party for the people of Telangana State. Congress party has come out with out and out promises for all sections of the people without budget considerations. There are promises for all the sections including transgenders. It is an all inclusive manifesto with huge investment proposals.

1) Administration from Secretariat. This is an interesting promise as KCR did not visit Secretariat in his term.
2) Welfare of those participated in Telangana movement during 1969 and 2009.
3) Crop loan waiver of upto Rs. 2 lakhs at a go.
4) Input subsidy of Rs.5000 per acre.
5) Welfare scheme for Agriculture labourers.

6) DSC Teachers recruitment in old exam pattern with 20000 vacancies.
7) Recruitment notifications for one lakh jobs in the first year itself.
8) Fee reimbursement in two installments.
9) Arogya Sri will be covered for all diseases and coverage amount will be increased to Rs. 5 lakhs.
10) Rs.5 lakhs subsidy on house construction on own land / plot.

11) Implementation of SC / ST Sub plans.
12) Separate corporations for Gonds, Lambadas, other tribals.
13) Implementation of sub plan for minorities.
14) RTC will be merged in Government.
15) Increase of reservations for BCs in proportion to their population.

16) Financial help of Rs.1.5 lakhs for Brides.
17) Rs.50000 loan waiver for women self help groups, 1 lakh grant and loans of Rs.10 lakhs.
18) Cancellation of CPS and implementation of old pension scheme.
19) Journalists welfare fund with Rs.200 crores. House plots for journalists.
20) Weekly offs to police.

21) 50000 acres land allotment for SEZs. 100 percent tax concession to SEZs.
22) Separate budget for senior citizens.
23) Scholarship of Rs.300 – 500 for school going children.
24) Free power to all devotional places.
25) Rs.3000 pension for transgenders and Indiramma houses.
