The widespread of the COVID-19 caused by the Corona virus prevalent around the whole world. The disease has spread globally resulting in the date rate of above 2 lakh people across the world. It is a threat to the whole of mankind. Considering the death rate caused due to the COVID-19 disease, you can feel the seriousness, the importance and urgency to take precautions to keep yourself safe. There is a saying “Precaution is better than Cure” it is rightly applicable at the present time of the dreadful situation are in today. The Government of India has taken a number of steps including some very bold ones like putting the whole country under a 21 day lockdown to fight the outrageous COVID-19. It is advised to all the people of the country to stay safe at home until the worst is behind and to be aware of the surrounding and knowing you are in the impact zone if stepped out.
The government has taken the initiative to develop COVID-19 tracking applications. One of them is the Corona Kavach tracking app which has been developed by the National e-Governance division of the Ministry of electronics and Information technology in association with the Ministry of Health and Family welfare. The app helps in tracking the data of the user at every hour to alert them about the risky geographical zone and if the user has come across any COVID-19 positive person.
The Corona Kavach app is only available for the android devices currently which can be downloaded from Google Play store.
How to download and use the Corona Kavach Application: Following are the steps to download and use the app
STEP 1- Go to the Google play store app on your android device and download the Corona Kavach app.
STEP 2- After installing the app, you open the app on screen of the app you find a few pictures with the details of the virus.

• Green – All Good
• Brown – See a Doctor
• Yellow – Quarantine
• Red – Infected
STEP 3- This step included registering your mobile number and then get OPT for verification.
STEP 4- On the home page of the app, it shows you the details about The people effected in India

STEP 5- There is an option of breathing exercise which has a control at how you inhale then hold, exhale and then hold. It also helps to know the capacity of the lungs.
STEP 6- There is another option of questionnaire asking you a few questions regarding your health Sincerely answering helps you to know the exact condition of your body.
STEP 7- There is a small button at the centre of the home page which sets a timer for an hour, which helps in tracking your location when you are out for any important work. It also alerts you, if you are in contact with a COVID-19 positive person in a risky geographical area.
For now, the app is at a basic beta level which means the app is made available for testing to a limited number of people outside the company before it is officially released for the whole country.
