The typical symptoms of Ebola virus disease are fever, sore throat, muscle pains and headaches. Along with these, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea follow. The final fallout of the disease is decreased functioning of kidneys and liver. There may be bleeding at the later stages of the disease.
The virus is commonly spread through monkeys and fruit bats. The virus may also be acquired through blood contact or bodily fluids contact of the infected animal or human beings.
Most important thing is that there is no treatment for Ebola disease. Oral Rehydration Therapy and Fluids are the only medication suggested. Killing infected monkeys and bats is the only effective solution to contain the spread of the virus. The mortality rate is more than 50 percent in this disease. Out of the 1750 affected fo far, more than 800 people died of the disease.
