The Government of India has initiated the process of weeding out bogus, fraudulent and ineligible voters from the voter lists across the country. The Election Commission of India has already started de-duplication of voters database in India. The duplicate / bogus voters will be deleted from the list by seeding the AADHAAR against the EPIC card holders.
The Election department of India has initially identified 15 polling centers of GHMC (Hyderabad, Telangana) area as a pilot run and has completed the Electors verification. The officials have also completed EPIC Voter ID – AADHAAR link / seeding successfully.
The process is now being implemented in GHMC Area (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) covering 24 Assembly constituencies and also in Nizamabad District. The same will be replicated in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States soon. The process also will be same for all the states across the country.
There are various approaches for Aadhaar – EPIC Voter ID seeding and mobile seeding will be convenient for you. Following is the procedure to link Aadhaar – EPIC voter ID through mobile seeding:
Mobile Seeding – Online through mobile:
This process will allow to seed the Electorals against Aadhaar number through mobile by the concerned executive. The users will have to download the APP that is similar to portal / website on their mobiles.
You need to enter the date after activating the APP through mobile application and the APP will link the Aadhaar against EPIC Card number and the same will be updated on the portal automatically. The Election Commission is yet to develop the mobile App which is under progress.
