As the formation of Telangana state is almost certain, now all the eyes are on possible government formation in Telangana after the Assembly elections 2014. All the leaders think that it is prestigious to become the first chief minister of Telangana state.
Obviously KCR will be the front runner for the top post irrespective of TRS merger with the Congress party. The merger is likely to spoil the chances of several Congress leaders of Telangana.
The Congress leaders from Telangana are likely to resist TRS merger with the Congress as they have to work under the leadership of KCR.
If the Congress managed to win majority of seats on its own, Janareddy, D Srinivas, Damodara Raja Narasimha will be strong contenders for the CM post. D Srinivas has fair chances as he is more close to the Congress high command than other leaders.
