September 5: Here is a good news for the teachers on the occassion of Teachers Day on 5th September 2012. The HDFC Bank has launched an exclusive credit card scheme for teachers. The Bank has announced the credit card scheme on 5th September, coinciding with the celebrations of Teachers Day.
HDFC has introduced the scheme with several special offers and features. The features include multiple reward points, weekend bonanza points, 500 special gift reward points to be credited every year on the Teachers Day and petrol surcharge waiver.
The Bank has launched the scheme to tap the growing education market in India. HDFC has earlier launched Doctors Credit Card in the similar lines. HDFC is the highest issuer of Credit Cards in India. More details of the scheme may be available on Bank’s website at www.hdfcbank.com .
