The iOS version is currently supporting over 35 banks such as SBI, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank, Union Bank of India and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) app on Android supports regional languages such as Bengali, Odiya, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. Support for more banks and regional languages in IoS version is likely to be added soon.
BHIM app is aimed at promoting digital transactions using the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), a bank-to-bank fund transfer system backed by internet and smartphones, using phone numbers linked to banks.
The BHIM App on iOS platform is available with features such as Pay to Aadhaar number, SPAM report, advanced customer redressal mechanism etc. Similar to the Android version, BHIM app on iOS also has a limit of Rs 10,000 per each transaction and transfer of Rs 20,000 in a day through the bank account.
