Following are details of proposed Jagityal district of Telangana state. The new Jagityal district will be carved out from existing Karimnagar district of Telangana. The Jagityal district will have 3087.41 sq.kms of area and 10,43,000 population. Following are details of new mandals and assembly constituencies that comes under the purview of Jagityal district.
Mandals in Jagityal district are Kodimyala, Malyala, Dharmapuri, Gollapalli, Pegadapalli, Dharmaram, Velgaturu, Jagityala, Raikal, Sarangapur, Ibrahimpatnam, Korutla, Mallapur, Metpalli, Kathalapur, Medipalli.
Assembly constituencies in the Jagityal district will be Choppadandi, Dharmapuri, Jagityal, Korutla and Vemulavada. The Telangana Government is yet to finalise the proposals made by district collectors with regard to formation of new districts.
