Jogulamba District / Gadwal District is the new addition to the list of districts in Telangana state. The district has been named as Jogulamba district with headquarters at Gadwal. Following are the details of mandals, revenue divisions and assembly constituencies in Jogulambad / Gadwal district. The district has come into force from 11th October 2016.
The entire district has come into the purview of new Gadwal revenue division. The mandals in the district include Gadwal, Dharoor, Ghattu, Itikyala, Undavally, Manopad, Leeja, Alampur, Waddepally, Rajoli, Kaloor, Thimmandoddi, Maldakal.
Several mandals and villages have been realigned as part of the restructuring of the district. Separate GO has been issued for this purpose. Formation of new district, revenue divisions and mandals and villages will not have any impact on the existing elected bodies of Zilla Parishads, Mandal Parishads and Gram Panchayats.
