In a latest directive, Government of India has announced that the PM Kisan benefits will be released to the farmers only who have linked their bank accounts with Aadhaar number. The fourth phase installment of the PM Kisan amount will be credited to Aadhaar linked bank accounts only.
Aadhaar link mandatory:
Government of India has clarified that the linking of aadhaar with bank accounts is mandatory for further instalments of the scheme. About 5 crore farmers will et benefits of iput support under PM Kisan scheme.

It is estimated that about 5 crore bank accounts were authenticated so far by the Agriculture department of Government of India. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana, the central government gives income support of Rs 6,000 per year to all eligible farmers.
Latest Installment Updates:
The amount will be disbursed in three installments of Rs.2000 each in every four months. The latest installment for December 2019 to March 2020 will be transferred to Aadhaar linked bank accounts at one go in December 2019.
The Central Government will disburse Rs.10000 crore to farmers in a day in this month. This is the largest disbursement under PM Kisan scheme since its launch.
