The counting of votes for the recently concluded Lok Sabha / parliament elections 2014 has been under progress on 16th May 2014. The initial leads of parties are yet to be announced by election officials. Here we update the party wise position, leads and seats won by various parties in these elections.
The exit polls have predicted decent margins for BJP and NDA parties. They alliance is likely to win majority of seats. Some exit polls have predicted majority for the BJP alone to form the government at the center.
The Congress and its alliance partners could fall short of hundreds of seats in the number game. Congress, as a single party may not reach 100 mark in these elections, if many exit polls are believed.
